Street Feast is easy to love, food and drink stalls offering up great fare along with music, atmosphere and communal seating areas, be it date night or a catch up with friends it’s an easy-going pick, what’s more, it’s new home at Hawker House has a roof and even walls!
Set across three floors in what I would guess is a disused office block on the Kingsland Road it really did provide for a Friday night meet up with a large group of friends, and would be a good date spot also. I thought we may struggle to get a good position for our size, but there was plenty of seating options around 18.30. The top floor is a little bit more intimate and expensive with cocktails from Milk & Honey at £9! First floor you can get a bottle of wine for £20.
Open from 17.00, there’s a £4 cover charge from 19.00, so getting there early will buy you another fish taco! Street Feast is going to be at Hawker House Friday and Saturday nights up until 3/4 April. I’ll def be back before it leaves – makes for a night where you don’t have to spend too much dosh but still get a good outing, that’s provided you keep off the cocktails!
