I was tasked with thinking up a nice little evening out for minimal cost, and so an affordable dinner and a quick drink in a pub seemed like a conservative line of niceness, I won’t talk about how it ended, but this was the premise.
Bento Cafe is great food at an affordable price, which will keep me coming back. In fact, if I’m meeting someone in Camden, I try and pop in there on my own beforehand to satisfy my sushi habit, before acting natural in public.
I often have doubts about places that are a stone’s throw from a tube station, but Bento Cafe also has that attribute making it a very easy place for a meet-up.
Its menu has a lot of selection which doesn’t always make for an easy order, but hopefully you’ll find what you’re looking for, be it sushi, noodles, rice, tempura, or something more exploratory, give it a whirl! Open from Tuesday to Sunday from midday right through until 22.30/23.00, it’s a great place to start a day or evening, however it ends.
