HEARTBREAK HOTEL: Immersive Theatre Da’ling down at The Jetty, North Greenwich

It’s so flat out there in Greenwich compared to Central London and with the river before you, what a joy it is to take in the ongoing expanse of sky!

Popping up at North Greenwich tube the Meantime Beer Box made a great meeting spot as it’s a stone’s throw from the station, with lots of room to stand and drink outside.  After making our meets and greets it was onwards to The Jetty venue.

There, we got checked-in at Heartbreak Hotel’s reception and entered their lobby.  It’s a production that occurs as you get escorted as a group through different shipping containers made up to look like rooms of hotel.  I won’t give any games away, I’ll just say the acting was great and you should GO SEE!!! It was well worth it!!

They have a bar and food options down at The Jetty, and I must say I was pleasantly impressed with the prices – so often you can get done over at theatre venues, but not this one!  £11 for a bottle of Malbec, winning!!  We were given the option on check-in to buy some prosecco for the end of the show which kicks out onto a raised outside space, which we did, and enjoyed, with blankets!!

Ticket pricing £10, £15 or £20 depending on what day you go.  Shows from now until June.

Thanks Heartbreak Hotel – I wouldn’t like to stay the night, but you gave me a great evening! 😉
